Nail Art: Dandelions
Dandelion nail art are something I've been meaning to do for a while, it's just one of those ones I've forgotten to do! It's so simple and easy to do, and super pretty too :)

Summer Ombre & Scribble Flowers
Hey guys, long time no post! So here's a double post to make up for it ;)
I've still been uninspired lately plus my nail art stuff is between glasgow and edinburgh so it's still a bit tricky to get stuff done.
This first design I have is a summery ish ombre using the Barry m Gellys and confetti glitter. I'm going to be a horrid blogger and say I've forgotten which ones. But I'm guessing guava, Greenberry and dragon fruit? :/ anyways did the standard spongey ombre with those three colours and then went over an accent nail with the sort of corresponding confetti glitter topcoats.
The second design is a scribbly floral design. I like the look of the Marc Jacobs ish designs that some people have done but I was in the mood to do something that looked like doodles and wanted to use models own fuzzy peach. It's a horrid photo but I did this in te evening and light wasn't too good so I had to use the flash on my phone. Sorry!

Flower Fail
Aloha!
Sorry I've been AWOL, but exam season is fast approaching, so just been gearing up for that *sobs*
Which means there'll be even fewer posts than there has been lately (had some tests and labs and stuff for uni - booo!) I also apologise for the mediocre phone cam pic, but camera needed charged and I couldn't be bothered waiting for it to charge hehe ^_^
Anyhows, I noticed that people tend to do florals/dotty flowers as their first tries at nail art, and they usually end up with lovely designs that make me ooh and aah in jealousy. Jealousy because I can't do florals, as you can seem from the attempt below -__-
Dunno, they just dont seem to look like flowers, maybe because grey wasn't the best flower colour to use, but the shape doesn't scream floral to me :( But I guess from far away they look like flowers, most likely because of the green blobs Im calling leaves :p
Hmm, think I'm placing florals on my list of things I ain't good at/never going to try cos I'll fail along with water marbling (dry marbling/dragging seems much easier and tidier) and one stroke flowers -_- *sighs*
Also in other news, I'm considering selling some fake nail sets with some of my designs on folksy (UK version of etsy), which will be something to keep me occupied over summer and maybe bring in some money, if people buy them :p Might jsut start out with a small bundle of 10 or 20, and advertise on my personal FB as some friends have said they really like my designs...or they were just being nice, I don't know lol. I've bookmarked some things from ebay like false nail sets, glue, and jiffy bags etc, and it wont come to too much, so should make a profit hopefully :)
Oh and I'd like to also thank the followers that have started...well, following...me, it's nice to see that people like you enough to follow you, even if it's just a small number, really appreciate it guys :D
Enough rambling now, better get back to the notes D':
Hope yous have a lovely spring day! :)

Floral Gems
I'm not sure how I got round to doing this design. I kept meaning to do this sort of arrangement to make flowers from round and tear dropped gems I have, and I adore this pinkish colour I have (not that the camera shows it well...)
Hmm, no sure what else to say about this...suppose if you have any questions then leave a wee comment :)

Floral
I remember not really intending to do a floral design that week, but I had bought some nail sticker from ebay and wanted to try them out. They're just normal stickers that you just put on your nails, to save you fiddly about with stamps, water decals or nail brushes. But they are a bit fiddly, dunno if it was just me, but they easily tore if you weren't careful when taking them off the backing. They last for ages, especially if you put a topcoat on, but they are a bit annoying to take off, lots of scrubbing.
All things girly...
I must admit I'm no a girly girl...I hate pink, not much of a flower fan and...well, I have guy logic most of the time :p
But I had a pink nail polish collecting dust (bought it because it seemed like a colour you should have) and I though it'd be a good idea to mix fimo and rhinestones to create a flower. It doesn't show up too well in the photo (thanks lame-o Blackberry camera) but I added a coat of pale pink glitter as well. If I was going to go girly, might as well go the full hog :P
